It's likely that half the used components you'll find will need to go to GPA anyway. Sure there are exceptions, but for me, at that level of entry fee i'd rather pony up the couple hundred extra up front, rather than have to "find" it down the road to make the used drivers i bought play correctly.
Save yourself the forward shipping, and rest assured that new GPA product plays up to spec and works properly right out of the gate, and for the next 20-30 years.
